Reservations Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Reservations Manager who will be part of an intimate team operating in a fast-paced center of excellence. This is a great opportunity to grow & develop a career.
Duties:
- Providing leadership, Managing and Assisting the Reservation team in carrying out their daily duties
- Managing & maintaining standards in relation to guest communications from within the reservations department, including telephone calls, emails and all other correspondence
- Ensuring that all procedures and standards are being implemented and adhered to as directed by the Managing Director.
- Dealing with Opera related issues and other technical problems.
- Dealing with and handling all reservation queries in relation to staying at the hotel
- Dealing with procedural queries from the reservation team and general problem-solving.
- Anticipating departmental needs to ensure preparedness for shift and daily duties.
- Liaising with customer complaints
- Providing motivation and feedback to the reception team.
- Accurately inputting & maintaining all reservations in our system
- Liaising and communicating with other departments.
- Ensuring that all scheduled tasks are completed correctly and on time.
- Developing a strong working relationship with colleagues
- Acting as a team player with the ability to multi task
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of OPERA is essential
- Previous experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star hotel is essential
- Qualifications in Hospitality preferable
- Strong leadership skills essential
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office and operating systems essential
- Able to work flexible hours
- Focused on providing a high standard of service
- Attention to detail is a must
- Interdepartmental communications required
- Dedicated to progressing within the 5 star market
- Professional image is key
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency of the English language, both verbal and written, is essential
